0.8.5 release (early) (DOESN'T WORK)
UPDATE: Traversal doesn't work atm, will fix it soon. For now connect with direct IP and forward your ports.
It's very strange, it works fine with my dev environment but the build doesn't seem to connect properly to people hosting games. Oh well I'll take a look at this later.
Apologies.

----------------------------------------
Hey everyone, back again
It's been a struggle to motivate myself to keep working on this but I'm determined to have it somewhat finished. I was going to save what I had done for a bigger release, but I wanted to show off my progress with the master server and the traversal stuff.
Right now 0.8.5 (early) will show off the use of the master server. It's still a little buggy, I've even had an instance of some desyncs but it seems like it was a one off, and hopefully I don't see them any more (seems like they were network related and not game related). Bit annoying since I thought I had eradicated them but hey, that's life.
Anyway there's a neat server browser now, you can host games entirely with the server browser using traversal (no need to port forward yay! Also ignore the port forward message at the bottom I forgot to take it out). When you host a game with the traversal server you get a code you can share with people, or you can just host directly with your pc and it will give you your global IP instead (locked to port 6789, so you will need to port forward for this to work). LAN also works in case you don't have an internet connection. You can also host 'private' games by unticking the 'public' box when hosting.
That's really the main feature of this update. We're soooo close to the final release. I want to put singleplayer mode back into the game, as well as some sounds and fix a few more bugs.
Also I'll make this clear now: The final release will still contain some bugs. Honestly I've been looking forward to just finishing off and being done with this game. That means there will be some bugs that still exist that I simple don't have the energy or motivation to finish. I know that sounds a little bit like a cop out (well, it is :P) but it's getting to that point where I need to put this project to rest and just move on. It's been a great experience but it's holding me back from other things I've been waiting for months to work on. I want to give this game a good final release, so the goal here is to make it as playable as possible, with some minor flaws that can hopefully be overlooked.
Anyway, not long now :)
